September 5, 2011 Wheaton Recycling Center - No longer open on Mondays as of:
Town of Wheaton Recycling Center will no longer be open on Mondays as of September 5, 2011.
Wednesday and Saturdays hours will remain the same.
Wednesday's hours of operation are: 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
Saturday's hours of operation are: 8:00 am - 3:00pm.

INFORMATION REGARDING WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE AND NOT ACCEPTABLE:
Acceptable Material:
*Household garbage in the blue bags
* #1 & #2 plastics
* Cardboard, paper, & magazines
* Metal (copper, aluminum, steel & iron)
* Glass bottles
* Demolition material & furniture (nominal fee)
* Appliances (nominal fee)
* Televisions ($30.00 each)
* Tires (nominal fee)
NOT ACCEPTABLE:
* No hazardous materials
* Fluorescent Light bulbs are not accepted.
Gordy's True Value Hardware in Chippewa Falls accepts fluorescent bulbs for a nominal fee.
Before unloading, please ask attendant what & where each item is to be dropped off.
The Town of Wheaton does not accept waste oil, but you can take it to Blodgett's Service & Repair
