March 21, 2010 Accepting Bids for replacement of Town Hall roof
The Town of Wheaton will be accepting bids for the replacement of its Town Hall roof. The scope of work shall include overlaying a fully adhered 60 mil. EPDM(Carlisle or Firestone)roof membrane over the existing 2000 sf. + corrugated metal roof system. Other items required include, but are not limited to adding insulation, wood blocking, membrane flashing, and any accessories required to provide a functional and warranted roof system. The work is to be performed during the 2010 calendar year. The Town shall provide disposal of the waste materials.
For additional information, including a specification sheet, or to review the existing site conditions, interested parties may call the Wheaton Town Shop at 715.874.5382 or 715.456.1665, Monday thru Friday, from
6:00 am to 2:00 pm (CST).
Interested Bidders shall provide a signed bid along with proof of insurance and performance and payment bond equal to the amound of 100% of the amound of their bid, no later that 2:00 pm (CST), March 31st, 2010, at the Wheaton Town Hall, 4975 County Hwy. T, Chippewa Falls, WI. 54729.
Bids will be opened, and read publicly, on Thursday, April 1st, 2010, at 4:00 pm (CST) at the Wheaton Town Hall.
It is expected that the Town will award the winning bid at its
April 13th, 2010 Town Board Meeting. The Town reserves the right to reject or accept any and all bids, or accept any bid that the Town deems most advantageous to the Town.
