June 22, 2010 Minutes of the Board Meeting held June 22, 2010
Notices were posted at the Town Hall, Fire Station, Recycling Center, Eau Claire Travel Center on June 20, 2010.
Paul Krumenauer called the meeting to order at 4 p.m. Present: Paul Krumenauer, Fred Anderson, Al Solberg, Pat Blaeser, Dave Burtness, Mark Christenson.
Al motioned to approve American Pavement Solutions bid of $1.15/lb. for a total of $5,999.55 for Crack Seal in 2010. Fred second, motion carried.
Al motioned to approve Scott Contructions bid of $54,799.00 for Chip Seal in 2010. Fred second, motion carried.
Al motioned to aprrove the Memorandum of Agreement between the town of Wheaton and City of Chippewa Falls regarding the TLripicana Boulevard road project. Fred second, motion carried.
Al motioned to approve Chippewa County's Tropicanna road project bid of 1285' by 24' by 3" approximately 557 tons 19mm Type E-1 Hot Mix Asphalt
@ $45.78/ton, pulverizing 3,141 S.Y. for $1,413.45 shouldering 2' wide each side, approximately 120 tons @$9.59/ton for $1,150.80. Fred second, motion carried.
Al motioned to accept Northland Excavating bid of ditching and installing culverts on Tropicana for $11,729.16. Fred second, motion carried.
Items 5 & 6 on the agenda were postponed.
